Acqua di Gio for men - Page 2
Question:
I find OF a MAN by the Body Shop similar to AdG. Have a test first. Answer: I agree that "Of a Man" from the Body Shop is a really good cologne of this type and inexpensive too, $22 for a bottle last time I looked, and that is the list price in the store. Another one to check out is Unbound for Men (2002) by Halston. It is something of a clone of Acqua di Gio for men but many find it a little better. It can sometimes be found in TJ Max for about $10 for a 100ml bottle. Well worth checking out. Originally Posted by KiatBkk I find OF a MAN by the Body Shop similar to AdG. Have a test first. Answer: I've smelled the women's version, your right, it's clean & nice, but I for one, want to smell something more than, "out of the shower fresh" on a person. I like an exotic, unusual, incensey type of fragrance, not too heavy, but something other than the beach. (aquatic smell) (I've lived in Florida for 25 yrs, tired of that smell already...lol...) Too each their own, enjoy. Answer: If you like Acqua di Gio, you should definitely try Givenchy Blue Label and Halston Unbound. Trust me on this one. Second the blue label, i've got a bottle myself. I'm actually not very fond of AdG or the Blue label, I find them to be VERY bland and boring. I am a fan of the MI or GIT though, are they even in the same category? Answer: For a fresh, soapy-clean scent on a guy...I really like Gendarme and Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male. Both drive me crazy!! Answer: Well, some more suggestions: Versace Metal Jeans Kenneth Cole New York Davidoff Echo Azzaro Chrome (for a marine vibe) CK Crave (for a citrusy vibe) Polo Black Answer: Originally Posted by nosyt Second the blue label, i've got a bottle myself.
