I've plunked down my cash for the MDCI samples, am eagerly awainting my ability to contribute to this thread, and have relegated my kids to walking everywhere for the remainder of the winter. Oldest son claimed a twisted ankle yesterday, and I nearly told him to try a sled.

There are so many scents there I love or used to love that our fragrance taste will not be too different.
So, I think you will fall in love with a least two of the MDCI perfumes.

I promised some people to write about the blind 'nosing' I organised for five of my friends this week.
Well, nosing and tasting, because we always start with a dinner.
My friends know that dinner at my place means that they will be guinea pigs for scents I want to know more about
Samples for every person, simply marked from 1-5.
Hallmarks card "you smell good" at high volume on the laptop
I always enjoy this immensely: six grown-ups sniffing the blotter, themselves, nuzzling each other and then the cup with coffee beans (oh, we take this very serious).
There is one woman who just loves a dinnerparty but is fairly indifferent to perfumes. But, she is a good sport so she always joins.
And to my immense surprise this friend hovered over one of the sampling vials like a falcon over her prey, finally announcing "I want this one! Where can I buy it?"
She had chosen the FK#2, the scent I loved the least.
Speechless! But she was in heaven
It seems we now have to save our pennies to give her this as a birthday present
Of the four other friends two chose FK#3, one went for Stéphanie Bakouche and one for FK#1.
A nice example that every scent is liked in a different way by different people

Back to MDCI. I have now tried all of their offerings and am mostly into Stéphanie Bakouche's fragrance and FK3. They're beautiful refined blends that really evoke a certain emotion. FK3, like Riannon mentioned, is amazing if you're a fan of sensual flowers with just a touch of wood. Never too prominent - a calm and comforting beauty.
Soooo, have more people had the chance to try them so far? Lievje, I'm really anxious to hear your thoughts too!
