It's got some woods in it, but it's still a feminine scent.
I bought a bottle of it for my ladyfriend, who was amazed when I told her some men wear it, as to her it's not a man's scent, but she does refer to it as a butch scent.

I love the stuff as well. It was the first fragrance where I came in contact with an overt cumin note. Since then, I've gone out of my way to find similar scents: Serge Lutens Muscs Koublai Khan and The Different Company Rose Poivree. I've heard that Red Giorgio of Beverly Hills has the same kind of smell but I haven't the nerve to fork out the bucks for a bottle on eBay. And actually KISS Him has a strong cumin note as well and reminds me a lot of Kingdom. Say what you will, but KISS Him is a really good frag!
I haven't been able to find the Limited Edition summer versions of Kingdom, but I'd love to try. Anyone care to comment of them?

I don't get anything feminine about this. To me the cumin cancels the jasmine in the first few seconds. I love it and am already grieving that it has been discontinued. It is very masculine and I get compliments on it whenever I wear it. It's loaded with myrrh and sandalwood. However, please test this one first. I know many people hate it. I think they should just give it a few minutes before washing it off.

Please take note, the only McQueen fragrance that is spectacular (imho) is Kingdom - the original. The others are too normal and unremarkable. The rest are variations of floral scents and have been done before. I think Mr. McQueen went from creating something artistic to trying to make money.

Well, disappointingly, all I could get from Kingdom was musty lemons. It also faded very quickly on my skin. Definitely one to test thoroughly before committing. I don't see why it wouldn't work for a man, though. Citrus is quite manly after all.
