Sillage Monsters! - Page 3
Question:
Hi Syracusa I love Prada EDP and I would say that it has average sillage. I do not like a scent with too much sillage. It makes me feel like a walking boom box.

Musc Ravageur starts as strong sillage but when discreetly applied it becomes a nice wearable skin scent, same feeling with many Lutens fragrances I love Un Jardin sur le Nil's sillage too. VERY nice. Also Parfums Delrae's Bois de Paradis. Gorgeous stuff.
Angel has mucho sillage too, although I can't wear it. I do like Angel Innocent.

Answer:
For me, Taberome was an enormous sillage monster. And I could still smell it after 12 hours and a shower.

Answer:
Bond No. 9 Chinatown has a lot of sillage, which I like. But it does make it too much for me to wear to work.

Answer:
Montale Black Aoud, Aoud Rose Petals, and Aoud Queen Rose.
Yee-haw! Roses. Flog me to death with the whole bouquet, I'll die happy.

Answer:
I must be addicted to sillage monsters - they account for most of my wardrobe! I seem to like scents with a lot of patchouli so that could be it.

Answer:
I find LŽAir du Temps to be a sillage monster, and also Blue Grass deserves to be mentioned.

Answer:
I'll second the Azuree mention - when I wear it I use about half a spray, and it still attracts comments (positive ones!). I was on a plane a few days ago, and was one of the first people to walk into the lounge at the gate. Someone had been in the lounge earlier wearing Azuree - it wasn't anyone currently in the room, and heaven knows how long ago the person wearing it had been there. I'm not sure whether I feel sorry for the people she was in the plane with or not - I know some people really don't get on with Azuree!

Answer:
I'd have to agree with Azuree, & Opium that were already mentioned. Red by Giorgio, is a killer. So is Dolce & Gabbana (red cap)There are quite a few intense smelling scents out there, but at least you get what your paying for. Some of the expensive lines out there, have very light scents that fade in a couple of hours, which to me is annoying. I used to over apply Amarige, why I don't know, but nobody ever complained, got alot of compliments, now if I did that, I would pass out. Also, used to over apply Hot Couture, but thank goodness, a woman I know pretty well, told me that less was more in regards to this fragrance, so I took her advice....lol...

Answer:
Has anybody tried Belle de Nuit by Fragonard? I have a pure parfum but literally 1 dot on my wrist lasted whole night, firstly terribly hash but wonderful bouquet of flowers in the morning.
