Question:
I picked this up at Nordstroms yesterday....
Very nice light scent...lasts about 4-6 hrs...comfort smell...
Anyone tried/heard of this?

I tried it the other day. It was indeed very watery. I kinda liked it but the girlfriend thought it was a bit too feminine. Still, glad to hear longevity's not bad.

I tried it some months ago when it was still a bit warm and it worked well on me with a decent duration for about 5h, not bad for a citrus based juice.
I quite liked it; the quality is good. It slightly reminded me of AdP Colonia Assoluta without the prominent soapy floral notes substituted with a fruiter soapy sensation.

Yes I also tried it. It was nice but it seemed like a lot of money for a cologne, and I would have tried it on the skin but I had no more room left.
I believe I'll be getting a sample of this at Sniffapalooza - I'm hoping for a large sample!!

It is a wonderful Eau de Cologne and should be seen within that tradition. While it is not all natural, as Acqua di Parma or Farina Gegenüber (I am not sure about R&G's Jean Marie Farina, though the natural oil percentage would be very high) it's a very nice variation, which, I believe, manages to smell purple (not that I'm good at synaesthesia). Fresh zesty citrus and florals (but lighter than Parma's gorgeous masculine rose and distinctly less floral or feminine than Aqua di Genova), very invigorating yet understated, a staple for spring & summer. And the bottle (with detachable sprayer) is a minimalist beauty indeed. Purple Water - a joyride from Mayfair through the English countryside to one's weekend cottage. Adam Ant sings: All I thought I wanted was a front door, all I ever wanted was a house in the country...
It's expensive, but some people with too many bottles have it on offer at a good discount
