Really salty notes - Page 2
Question:
Mare by Creative Universe - sea salt is the main ingredient. Hell of a fragrance. Answer: Annick Goutal Vetiver is vetiver with a heavy dose of salt. Answer: Mare Erolfa Carthusia Uomo Society Yachting All winners...Society Y sells for about $10 a gallon Answer: Seconding Sel de Vetiver, which amazed me when I first smelled it; I had no idea something could be made to smell that salty. Lovely stuff. Answer: Quote: Originally Posted by Azsmells Annick Goutal Vetiver is vetiver with a heavy dose of salt. I second this one. Answer: try Bond Hamptons beautiful blue bottle and smells like the ocean Answer: Second the Eau des Merveilles by Hermes. Also, I get 'salty sand' notes from Azuree Soleil Eau Fraiche by Estee Lauder (this just came out, it's a limited release though) Answer: I find Terre d'Hermes to be quite salty - but not so much sodium chloride type salty, more like mineral salty - as if you go and lick a rock. And that reminds of when I was in Sweden and I went to the candy store, and my girlfriend at the time gives me what looks like a rock of the street. And I put it in my mouth and it tasted like ... a rock off the street! Terre is like the fragrance version of that, with a hint of orange peel. Answer: Montale Greyland is loaded with cumin (and is too "salty" for me!) Answer: Bulgari Aqua is very salty and oceanic (it even has a seaweed note!) and is, for the most part, more assessible and affordable then most of those already listed. Nothing wrong with sticking with Kenzo PH though. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
