I'm not saying that all cigar-like notes are risky to wear, but I think that wearing scents with tobacco in them should be done on an infrequent basis because of the health risks that tobacco poses. I will continue to wear scents with tobacco in them, but I'm going to limit my use. Maybe once a week, sometimes less, sometimes more.

I don't think that tobacco essential oils pose a harm to you, except in extreme concentrations, and you won't get that in a cologne. Besides, you only live once. Drink liqour, smoke cigars, and skin your knee once in a while. You'll never know how much fun it is to climb a tree until you've climbed it.

For what it's worth, my favorite fragrance with prominent tobacco note is Kretek by Ava Luxe. (But it doesn't smell like a cigar, it smells like a fresh clove cigarette.)

- Rich You're probably right about the low levels of tobacco oils in scents. But the thing with smoking is, there were a lot of smokers in my family, and I've seen them die awful deaths from cancer. But on occassion a cigar is a nice indulgence. And I think that drinking is a neccessity for me. I don't think I could ever give that up.
