What is missing? - Page 2
Question:
It sounds to me that you like them on the heavy side. I also like woody orientals and heavy chypres. Everytime I try to expand my collection into other areas, such as citrus and fresh, I end up swaping what I buy. The nose knows what it likes. The one thing I found helpful is finding which notes you like, especially which top and basenotes, since these are the ones that leave the lasting impressions. For me vanilla is my touchstone. It has helped me sift through a lot of potential buys rather quickly. On that happy note, the first suggestion that comes to mind is Jaïpur Homme by Boucheron. IMHO, it's as close to perfection as possible. The other scent that I'm a total fanatic for is Carven Homme. A more modern version of Givenchy Gentleman, high quality ingredients and a super bargain. An everyday scent. Go slow and test as much as you can before you buy or else your swap list will grow larger than your wardrobe! Answer: Thanks for all the response. I have in fact tried Creed GIT, Creed Himalaya, Fanhrenheit, Joop, Very Irresistable and others which dont come to mind but do end up getting rid of them. I do prefer the woody and chypres scents. I dont feel that I am actually missing something in the range, its more a case of being introduced to something which is similar and would otherwise not have come across. Answer: You need these: YSL Kouros Azzaro PH Pacco Rabbanne PH Bogart One Man Show or Krizia Uomo or both YSL M7 Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
