Question:
Paco Rabanne Calandre. Seems like it's its weather! Looooong day at work, too.

Answer:
I'm in Mandarine Mandarin today...it reminds a bit of Fleur D'oranger; but more sirupy or caramelled. I must say that I'm impressed with the quality of the scents from SL that I've tried so far.
They are so rich compared to other frags I have owned. I get the impression that there is no alcohol in them at all; that they are made of the most precious, natural rawmaterials.
Normally you get a burst of alcohol at first when you spray an Eau de parfum; before it settles down.
But with SL I get the feeling of applying pure perfume oil.
I let a friend try Les FldO and Un Lys yesterday...she swooned over both, and particularly the first.
Well SL is the first niche I have ever tried; so obviously I have not much experience. But I am really impressed with what I've tried so far.

Answer:
I'm in Nu edp today.A lotof Bergamot and pepper on me so far. This scent always gives me a boost of selfesteem

Answer:
Me to, Kanutta (those posts from the 7 days of feasting on Lutens thread really made me want to go try him, and I fell head over heels for Ambre Sultan. Since then I've aquired Chypre Rouge and Miel de Bois).
Today I've been playing with some Goutal samples. I tried Eau de Charlotte for this morning's cardio workout at the gym, in the hope that my increased body heat would bring it out a bit. But it's still far too subtle a scent for my tastes - I can hardly smell it. Which is a shame because, from the notes, it sounds as though it should be the most delicious gourmand.
Trying Sables again now, post-bath.

Answer:
After wallowing all yesterday in delicious Loukhoum took a break and snuggled into long-time favorite from the sixties and seventies - Fracas (can't really find the right color for her - maybe Grant will get us the color wheel!!)
She is just so lovely - Fracas. (Wretched name - this is hardly a brawl!) But whereas she used to enter the room with trumpets blaring, now she sweeps in on cellos and harps. Lower estrogen? BP meds? Age?
On me Fracas opens with a hint of bergamot and blossoms into "Mille fleurs" (almost twenty are listed over all) highlighted by tuberose, muguet and gardenia with some greenery and orange blossoms and underlaid with musky amber.
I remember now why we loved each other so much! This was only a sample - may have to invest!!

Answer:
Picking through my samples stash, I've chosen Chanel No. 5. Feels like spring's just around the corner.

Answer:
Sharing the house with Quarry today , testing Chanel's Bois des Iles from a lovely, generous BNer.

Answer:
