Question:
Has anyone on here sampled Billy Jealousy's "Illicit"? I'm almost tempted to blind buy it because I haven't seen it in Macy's, Neiman's, Nordstroms, Sacs, Lord and Taylor OR Bloomingdales lol. I know it's hard to go by descriptions, but it's intruiging me.

The packaging claims citrus, bergamot, ivy, ginger. I smell some wood in the base as well. It's an EdP strength. Kind of green at first (the ivy, I guess) and then sort of spicy and slightly sweet (ginger and bergamot?), but the green note persists.
Very nice, quite different from anything I've smelled before.
Keywords: Modern, clean, fresh, green, slightly spicy, and (maybe) young.
Worth a sniff, if you're not too much into traditional formulations. This one is different!

That's a review by JaimeB, and I trust his nose and words no question. That said, however, I'm curious about the scent because the listed ingredients sound like a pretty common mix--citrus, bergamot, some green, throw in some trendy kitchen ingredients (ginger and tea), and put in over some woods. Sounds like a pretty common mix to me, but with Jaime's comments on it being edp and quite different, I'm going to have to see what the stuff really smells like.

Thanks, thats weird. I looked in Nordstroms and couldn't find it. Nobody even knew what Billy Jealousy was. Maybe I'll just have to order it online. Yea, JaimeB's description made it sound interesting. Different and young.
