What do you think? I like Body Kouros, its nice, but a little smokey..would Rochas be nice?

You seem to be missing the best part of frag-finding, the whole sniffing process! You gotta sniff different scents & discover what you like about them. A rushed "gotta have it, who knows if I'll like it" approach isn't the way to go.

Buying blind is a good way to waste money, especially if you base all your decisions on what others think. I know this from experience.
With that being said, I think Rochas Man is similar to A*men but without the tar note.

If my g/f approves, I am definately going to take Body kOUROS back and get store credit and buy another fragrance...
I love this ROCHAS! It's MUCH BETTER than A men to me...much fresher,...less powdery..less cloying..
I got lucky on this blind buy... I might even go back and get another 1.7 if my g/f likes/loves it, b/c theres only 2 left.
a 1.7 at perfumania is almost 40..might as well get TWO 1.7 for the price of one.

Which store did you find it at for $19.99. That's a really nice price on a great frag.
I have never found A*men to be powdery but I am glad that Rochas might be the fragrance you were looking for.

ross or dd's discount (same chain, same prices..same frags. basically). personally got it at a DD's... they have VERY limited selection..only 7 mens cologne..and 6 womens..

i know that some people consider blind buys a waste of money but it's all in good fun. once you get enough fragrances buying blind is good, a new twist.
personally i love rochas man, it was like my 3rd or 4th cologne and your girlfriend will love it.
my 3.4 is almost empty so maybe you should go ahead and get another bottle, i paid about $31 with shipping for a 3.4 tester on ebay.
