Top All Year Round Fragrance
Question:
What fragrance in your regular rotation works wonderfully all year round? I seem to have a Fall-Winter line-up; and a Spring-Summer grouping. Would be interested in hearing what fellow Basenoters think is a great fragrance that is not seasonally challenged. Thanks all. Joe Answer: My two best year-rounders are Dia and Yerbamate. GIT, Ungaro II, and Mandarine-Mandarin work pretty much anytime for me, too. But then I have cool (70-80 degree) summers. Answer: Terre d' Hermes Antaeus Rose 31 Memoire d'Homme GIT Heritage Answer: different candidates drift in and out (2007 sees Terre d'Hermes and Guerlain Vetiver in winter and summer roles) but one that has been a year-rounder for a long time in my arsenal is Van Cleef & Arpels Pour Homme. Granted, I wear it at night, but in both snow and sun. Answer: Terre d'Hermes Pomegranate Noir Rose 31 Rochas Lui Bleecker Street Answer: Bvlgari Black, Lolita Lempicka au masculin Answer: My Top 5 Year Round Scents are: Carven Homme - The world's best kept secret. Mitsouko - Classic mysterious chypre. le 3e Homme de Caron - A bouquet of everything. Fracas for Men - A weird, elegant floral. Caron Pour un Homme - The perfect lavender. Cheers! Answer: Miracle Homme is suitable for all occasions and all year round (IMHO). cheers. Answer: Put in a second vote for Guerlain Vetiver. I'm fast becoming addicted to Erolfa, though haven't actually -tried- it in cooler weather. 'Cool Weather' in the middle of Texas is somewhat scarce, though. Answer: The ones that always seem to be around throughout the year for me are Hermes Equipage, Francesco Smalto PH, Guerlain Vetiver, and recently, Caron L'Anarchiste.
