Has anyone ever tried Demeter fragrances? - Page 2
Question:
Play-Doh actually lasts quite a while, for a Demeter fragrance. Answer: Obviously some are better than others. Leather has reasonable longevity and is convincingly suede-like. This is Not a Pipe is an excellent tobacco scent and also lasts fairly well. I haven't tried a lot but most are fairly accurate depictions of what they are attempting to describe. Some have no longevity: Grass is wonderful on application but is gone within minutes. This is definitely a try-before-you-buy line. Answer: There are really good Demter scents - a handful have average longevity and complexity, however the majority of the line has low longevity and no complexity at all. FYI - rumor has it that Demeter will be introducing even smaller bottles than the 1/2 ounce, to make it easier to try out their scents. Of course you can always buy ALL of the Demeter scents online at their office website. Not sure if they ship internationally, though. I own Kahala Guava Nectar - and I plan on owning Dirt (the Demeter classic best seller), Ginger Ale and that Curry one...I think its Spicy Curry. Answer: Wow, folks, thanks for the replies! Actually, I found a lot of Demeter fragrances ín an online seller being sold very cheap. Now I can guess why... In Brazil's hot weather I imagine it would be gone in 60 seconds... Answer: To paraphrase Lou Grant speaking to Mary Richards, "Demeter is perky. I hate perky!" Answer: Just tried my freshly arrived "Golden Delicious." It's a mindbogglingly realistic rendition of - artificially smelling green apple shampoo I got a 120ml for 12 bucks (incl. shipping) and that's just about what it's worth. Roomspray indeed. This would not come between me and my Calvins . Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
