But I think it's one's outlook in life which makes the difference. Answer: Indeed. 40 is a very different place to be than it was 30-40 years ago. Whilst I'm not up for clubbing or boozing all night and rather enjoy evenings in, I am also eagerly awaiting my holiday, which will be a tour of the Scandinavian amusements parks and their rollercoasters, and anticipating whether there will be enough time between now and then for me to cultivate a six pack. Answer: I have ordered from the Paris boutique, great service and very fast delivery too. They will include samples if you ask what you want to try. And with the pound so strong at the moment good deal and no customs from the EEC. Caron have bought out a number of their fragrances in edp form quite recently. Answer: http://www.parfumscaron.com/UK/conta...ces_caron.html Here's a list of all the boutiques and phone #'s. I ordered mine directly from New York on the phone after trying it in person. I waited to get home so I wouldn't have to pay %10 sales tax and worry about baggage handlers. They were nice and efficient to deal with on the phone. Tabac Blonde in a refillable spray is out of this world fantastic. The ideal 40th BDay present. You have to decide if you want purple colored (tinted) glass bottle, green, midnight blue or yellow. I got yellow because it goes well with the juice. If you had more than one it would help you identify the frags. The one I got is small and pointed at the end & lays on its side. It comes in a little bag. There's no place for a label. Answer: Thanks, Kumquat. Answer: Wow, it's expensive isn't it? Of course now I'll have to sample this one...damn it's true Basenotes is a purse-strippingly splendid forum! :-) Answer: Quote: Originally Posted by Clemmie ...damn it's true Basenotes is a purse-strippingly splendid forum! :-) Beautifully put, dear Clemmie! And now of course I, as yet another BaseNoter who's firmly ensconced on the higher end of "middle youth," need to follow all the great, enabling info on this thread and try the EDP to go with my full bottle of EDC. [[[sighs of my kids seeing future college tuition funds going up in scent]]] Answer: Yes, I've gone from someone who owned a couple of Duty Free scents like Angel and Mitsouko to someone who owns three Lutens, , a Creed, Musc Ravageur and is now salivating over Carons. What am I to do? Answer: For Indiscreet: Rx: Cologne, Edt, Edp, Perfume, Extrait liquids Disp: Copious Amounts Sig: Use As Needed/Wanted Refill: Often Answer: Indistreet, Caron in America will not ship outside the US and Canada.
