Question about temperature from a new Guy
Question:
Hello Everyone,
My local UPS driver couldn't make it for delivery and my New bottle of Creed Original Veviter is sitting for two more nights in a trailer outside in the cold (probably around 20 degrees) Of course it's in a box but I am nervous that it won't survive the temperatures. Any feedback would be very much appreciated.
Curious also, anyone have experience with imagination perfumery?
Thank you,
Bobby

Answer:
Alcohol freezes well below zero, so you shouldn't have any problems with 20 degree temperatures. Higher temperatures will have a worse effect more so than any cold temperatures you might come across.

Answer:
Thank you kind Sirs !!

Answer:
You should be more concerned about high levels of heat. Cooler temps will not damage, unless they're freezing. But in general, your cologne is probably better off in the cold.

Answer:
The freezing point of alcohol is -117C. A typical EDT type fragrance is about 80% alcohol so you would need to see new records in low temperatures to come even remotely close to freezing it. A few of the Basenotes members even keep their fragrances chilled to prolong their life. Heat would be a bigger issue.
