The best of "sport?" - Page 2
Question:
I'm not sure it need be "sport". These are some very classy fragrances which are entirely wearable in an office context - close to the skin, elegant, yet in no way insipid or banal: Dunhill Cologne (the original 1934, freshly discontinued). Classy, lavender, leather, but very subtle R de Capucci - a sophisticated, very fresh, elegantly floral, smooth and understated chypre. Works anywhere. For subtle incense and sandalwood, try the incredible DSH Sandalo Inspiritu Green Irish Tweed is an excellent office scent of the highest quality, if you like violet notes. Others prefer Kiton Men. Then there's Crown Spiced Limes - refreshing lime with a subtle spice subtext. Another one personally find very nice for casual wear is Brooksfield Men. It's fresh, yet with a certain spicy warmth to it (apple notes) Etienne Aigner No. 2 is a masterful Fougere that is incredibly comfortable to wear and fine for the office. for fresh yet sophisticated Adolfo Dominguez is also very recommended - try both Vetiver hombre (totally different from Guerlain's), one of my all-time faves, and Agua de Sandalo. These are perfect for summer. Aqua di Roma is an, IMHO, underrated grapefruit scent. Quite long lasting, well-made. If you like Néroli, try MPG pour le jeune homme. Fresh EdC-style top, spicy bottom, very fresh, summery, allround. Capucci pour homme is a little known citrus with some substance - you might prefer it to a purer, sharper citrus such as Monsieur Balmain. Rodier pour homme: fresh, subtle, yet distinctive, spring-time feeling, rarely worn. Ronaldo Esper Millesimé: very tropical-green top, more of a trad. woody-spicy drydown. Very good for the office, a bit different. Finally, if you want sport, Sport de Paco Rabanne is a good and rare one. Answer: Carlos, you should definetely give Mont Blanc Starwalker a try. It's very light and has that Issey vibe. (just don't expect originality). I second MisterK with Lacoste Original suggestion... Another ones that could work at the office: * Van Cleef & Arpels Tsar * Lagerfeld Photo Answer: Quote: Originally Posted by the_good_life I'm not sure it need be "sport". I also agree with RCavs re: Tsar and recommend its brother, Jazz. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
