I always think of Christmas Tree lots when I wear it but it smells nice even when it is hot. It does not become overpowering when it is too hot. I usually find sweet and floral fragrances can easily become overpowering when it gets too hot and Yatagan does not have either of these characteristics so it dose very well in the heat.

Answer:
I find that Zino Davidoff gets where I want it to be a lot faster with a little heat added.

Answer:
Rive Gauche + sweat = Awesomeness!
Also, Fahrenheit, about two hours into the drydown, can be a surprisingly refreshing scent on a hot day

Answer:
L'Anarchiste is one of my summer greats.

Answer:
Any very woody or spicy frag works well for me in summer (sometimes even better than fruity citruses!!). I feel like some dryness counteracts excessive humidity even if the notes seem "hot". Gucci Rush, Tam Dao, Fahrenheit, and Desert Marocain are examples.
It's those steamy, "thick" frags that choke me.

I live in a part of Alaska that ranges from 40 degrees Fahrenheit to 65 degrees Fahrenheit in the summertime, so I get to wear heavy orientals all year round. Now you guys know why I love Lutens so much!
Anyway, I just got a sample of Montale's Intense Tiare and I'm in love with it. I hear that it wears very well in hot weather...we'll find out when I visit Denver in June! (and hopefully Kansas City too!)

Thanks for the replies, all. Kansas gets very hot & humid in the summer. When it gets down to 60 F at night, it's during a freak cold front & that's when I bring out my "winter" frags. I love those nights. But you all bring up some interesting points about heavier frags developing differently in the heat. I try not to spend too much time outdoors during the hot days & when I do, I wear my lightest frags.
