What wears surprisingly well in the summer?
Question:
As much as I'm looking forward to warmer temps, I'm lamenting that I'll have to put most of my winter frags away. And I JUST PURCHASED M7, too! Grr. Anyways...last summer I was surprised that a light spritzing of a couple of my winter faves (Bvlgari Black and Lolita Lempicka au masculin) worked quite nicely on cooler summer evenings (by Kansas's standard of a "cool summer evening" I'm talking around, 60 F with fairly high humidity). What are some of your winter favorites that you were surprised to learn also worked decently in the summer?

Answer:
I wear Bleecker Street during the summer.
Cuiron, Pomegranate Noir on summer nights.
I also plan on wearing L'air du desert Marocain, and Rose 31 in warmer weather; just lighter application.

Answer:
A*Men and Jaipur seem to work pretty well as long as ya don't use as much and you spray from further away for more coverage...

Answer:
I have Beyond Paradise for Men, actually I wont the cologne but I was send the aftershave. I e-mailed them back and there sending out the cologne tomorrow morning and letting me keep the aftershave
Based on the aftershave it smells PERFECT for summer. It's fruity and cooling feeling and gives the summer DAY vibe. Will Maimi Glow gives the summer NIGHT vibe. This smells like it will work perfect in those hot summer days.

I have to agree here, in the summer, even for men this one might be attractive, in a man, it can have a very dirty-earthy-musky quality that makes most of the feminine top notes to dissapear and of course, the very "fem" aldehyde top is a goner as well. A lot of women seem to like it that way too.
Just a dab on one wrist and the smudge the stuff between the two wrists is enough though. Potent stuff!

Answer:
I wore Gucci Envy while I was in Singapore. It was surprisingly decent despite the humidity and high temperatures

Living in the tropics, the coolest summer evenings I experience are around 27 C or 81 F, with extreme humidity. Not surprisingly, no winter frag. (not even any of those mentioned), would work in this sort of climate. Those that I think would work (even in the coldest of climates) are the fresh ones, including the citruses and the aquatics, eg. L 'Eau d'Essey, Bulgari Aqua, Terre d'Hermes, Azzaro Chrome, Polo Blue, Nautica Voyage, etc.
I should however mention, Gucci Envy was recommended to me by more than one member. Never tried it, though.

Great question.
I think White by Comme de Garcons is a PERFECT winter/summer scent...the spice warms me up the in the cool season and the pomegranate, vetiver and florals cool me down in the hot season.

Answer:
Sounds crazy, but I used to wear a light spray or two of Le Male in in the spring and summer here in ATL. A light application of Dunhill Desire also worked.
You might even try your beloved Gaultier2. One of my gal pals used to wear a light spray of various vanilla based scents on hot summer nights here.
