Must Haves ?
Question:
Hello,
I am from Germany, and are reading here for some time without a membership. My English isn´t the best ( only school english - you see :--)
sorry for that.
I am 37 ( family father ) working in a great office, like Classic clothing & understatement.
i did test some frags last time but had not enough time and don´t want also go to test everytime, without buying something :--).
Fragrances which i don´t like: Allure sport, sander Pure for men, irish moos, tabac original, chanel egoiste.
which i like but didn´t buy: jil sander for men - not longlasting too light., also cerrutti 1881 - too strong but nice, allure - too much citrus but fresh and ok, Burbery Brit & Eau Sauvage.
which i want too buy, Bulgari pour homme ( want to try the extreme version also ), Guerlain vetiver ( didn´t tested it untill now ), Lagerfeld Photo ( daytime ) and Classic ( Evening ).
Fragrances which i have now:
Lanvin Vetyver ( daytime )
Aigner Clear day ( very fresh - i like it a lot, daytime, weekend )
Puma man ( massmarket, evenings ), will not buy it again
Bruno banani PURE ( massmarket, evenings ), will not buy it again.
At the next time i want to buy some ( min .5 & max. 10 ) Perfumes for me and want to have your opinions which MUST HAVES ( not too expensive please ) i could test and buy ?
My List today is:
Daytime:
Bvlgari Pour Homme
Guerlain Vetiver
Live Jazz
Terre D'Hermes
Paco Rabanne XS
L'eau par Kenzo
Mugler Cologne
Evening:
YSL M7
Zino Davidoff
thanks.

Answer:
Good to meet you. Have you tried Azzaro PH? It's one of my all time faves.

Answer:
yes i tried it last week, did forget it, i like it but wouldn´t wear it everytime, strong, fresh, is not in my list, but would buy it :-)
another question --> Aramis by Aramis (1965)

Answer:
of your listed daytime scents, I think the first three make an absolutely excellent daytime rotation. Bulgari for a default, Live Jazz for when its scorching, and Guerlain Vetivier when you want to be just a little bit noticed.
Your evening scents are excellent too: alle Beide sind ,,was anders" m7 is medicinal and sharp, but then drops off in a dramatic way to something deeply sexy. Zino has a melancolic vibe t it, you may like, you may not.

Answer:
I like Bulgari Pour Homme, Mugler Cologne (particularly), and Terre D'Hermes (which I think is versatile enough to be both a daytime and evening fragrance).

Welcome to the boards, sanatik.

Answer:
Give Givenchy Gentleman a try.
Also Versace L'Homme

Answer:
Great choices for daywear! I like:
Bvlgari Pour Homme
Guerlain Vetiver
Terre D'Hermes
Paco Rabanne XS
All of these, with the exception of TdH, can be bought very cheaply on the internet - don't pay full price! Most for $20 US or so for a good size bottle.
Your night choices? Yes, M7 is very nice, haven't decided on Zino yet. YSL Body Kouros, Gucci Envy, Gucci PH and Guerlain Heritage would all be nice evening frags which can be bought very affordably.

another question --> Aramis by Aramis (1965) Oh yes, Aramis is definitely a must have. If this is not a nice classic I do not know what is! It is my signature scent (right now).
Plus it is not that expensive and there are a lot of other products in the Aramis-line, that you can enjoy.
Mic.

Willkommen.
Clinique Happy for Men (sehr schöner orangiger Zitrusduft).
Richard James Eau de Toilette (sehr edel, British Gentleman pur, frisch plus Leder plus floral, war eine Zeitlang spottbillig auf ebay zu haben, obwohl es eigentich sehr teuer ist)
Acqua di Parma, Colonia (frisch & elegant, leider teuer))

Hee! I wish that I spoke German. Being curious, I used Google's translation page to see what it is that you were writing about! I think it's hilarious that they translated Willkommen into "Welcomely". Great post, the_good_life...except I think that the poetry in your original Deutsch was lost through the computer translation.
Welcomely. I write simply times for a change German You have a very beautiful list there! Everything hochklassig, thus actually only taste question. I would recommend in particular Terre of d'Hermes, am versatile have much class and, as well as to XS - smells like it is twice as expensive. “Sophisticated.” Mugler Cologne and Kenzo are me personally too all too. further I would recommend to you a few Exoten: Acqua di Portofino (freshly green-maritime, elegantly, rarely, to have sometimes very favorably with ebay) Adolfo Dominguez Vetiver Hombre (freshness like it more elegantly does not go. Unfortunately not in D erhätlich, only sometimes over ebay) Clinique Happy for Men (very beautiful orangiger Zitrusduft). Richard James Eau de Toilette (very nobly, British Gentleman purely, freshly plus leathers plus floral, was to be had for a while mockery-cheaply on ebay, although it is very expensive eigentich) Acqua di Parma, Colonia (freshly & elegantly, unfortunately expensively)) L'Occitane, Vetyver (IMO much better than Guerlain's, erdig however freshly, beautiful spice resemblances in the background. Not expensively, approx. 30 euro) Crown Perfumery - very classical English smells. Sandrigham is perfectly, zitrus wood easy floral, hinreissend. Extremely zitrisch, then elegantly puderig imperial, Kräuterig lavendelig Town&Country, is herb industrial union bitter Eau de Quinine. If you come times into a larger Douglas, try there fun for the sake of times the perfumes of Creed, about which one talks much here. Very expensively, but partly the best which it gives and over ebay often at the half price to then have. Caution, craze danger And if you are interested in fillings - I make straight mean shop see close below), but to end of the yearly I still offer. Much success and pleasure with finding your dream smells.
