Frags with Great Sillage - Page 2

A*Men, especially in heat, can be pretty ridiculous especially if you apply a lot. Geir, especially in the top notes, has nuclear sillage. People have smelled Geir on me from 20 feet away, no joke. If you search the forums, there are probably a million threads like this which means lots more answers for you. Check it out. True words! Indeed, not constantly smelling what you're wearing doesn't mean that it's not detectable by other people either. It's more likely that olfactory fatigue is playing a role (more about that in the search as well). In fact, a lot of people go and overspray like crazy because of olfactory fatigue. Lethal sillage isn't exactly very enjoyable. Answer: Indeed, I actually think that very big sillage is a bad thing in general. I want people to get slight whiffs of my fragrance, not smell it all the time. That's much more interesting experience. Probably it's because I personally like to smell subtle scents on other people, wonder what that beautiful (or not) scent might have been. Overspraying and a big sillage is very annoying in a long run, no matter how good the scent; and to people who are intersted in what chicks dig, a huge turn-off. Answer: Body Kouros. I love it, but I have to be careful because I HAVE nauseated an entire table at dinner by dousing myself too much. Answer: Opium Pour Homme EDP - YSL 212 Men - Carolina Herrera Chic for Men - Carolina Herrera Answer: Bulgari has great sillage, at least in my co-worker. Overspraying and a big sillage is very annoying in a long run, no matter how good the scent; and to people who are intersted in what chicks dig, a huge turn-off. That's exactly how I feel. I only use 2 or 3 sprays at most (1 if it's Pi). With the Rive Gauch especially it is tough to smell the base (which is my favorite part). Maybe it is fatigue. Come to thing about it my nose has been kind of stuffy lately. Perhaps I should go a couple days sans frags. Answer: My wife's been the only person to comment on the sillage of a perfume I was wearing. Perhaps everyone else is being too polite? Anyway, of those about which she's commented, Baldessarini (), the Lutens ( Chergui, Arabie, and Ambre Sultan) then the Bonds (Chez Bond, Riverside Drive) and Fahrenheit rank highest in sillage although not necessarily in that order. I have to comment on nose fatigue because on the day the missus told me about Baldessarini, I'd use the after-shave and completely overloaded my Baldessarini "sensing circuit". Easy does it, especially with the Lutens'! Answer: Originally Posted by steveharrisonmc I was just thinking about my fragrance collection. While A couple have really great sillage ( GIT and M7). I like a fragrance where I don't have to stick my wrist to my nose to smell it. Any suggestions? This is more of warning rather than a recommendation, but Creed's repulsive "Original Santal" nearly sent me to the ER the day I wore it, and I didn't put that much on. Answer: Oh, another with insane sillage that should be mentioned: Montale's Black Oud Answer: While eating out with my DW at Outback tonight, I noticed a rather strong scent wafting about and finally realized it was coming from our waiter. I asked him what is was and he said "Lacoste Red(Style in Play?)" SILLAGE extrodinaire ! Dan Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
