Well, it is mid afternoon and I was just reading through the messages and thought it would be fun for me to pop in and start the day off for most of you. I do hope I am not standing on anyone's toes?
It is overcast and cool (compared to what we have had 33 deg C) about 22 deg C today, so wanted something warm to wear - so I chose Mitsouko which is hitting the spot nicely!

Dreaming I could return to that enchanted place where the almond trees are growing.
Almond is for me a beloved note in scents and maybe that is partly because of the story behind it.

I love almonds, but have not tried Mandorlo di Sicilia, it sounds DELIGHTFUL! I can onlly imagine how it would smell, and I imagine, sweet almond as in French pastries with chocolate drizzled on the top - oh this is driving me mad. You must smell delish! Great story too! Thanks. Have a great day.
