Feminine scents with tons of amber? - Page 2
Question:
The new CK In2U for her has warm neon amber - I think it's a little generic, but it actually smells surprisingly heavenly on me, so perhaps your girlfriend will like it, too.
And how about anything Stella McCartney? I think all her fragrances have amber in them, particularly her solid amber scent. If your girlfriend loves lots of amber, that's a pretty good bet!

Answer:
Ambre Sultan and Musc Ravageur thirded!

Answer:
Another vote for Anne Pliska (divine!) and Youth Dew Amber Nude.

Answer:
To the wonderful recommendations above, let me add Jean Desprez Bal a Versailles and Yves Rocher Voile d'Ambre.

Answer:
Some of the above recommendations, in my opinion, are just amber-y NOT necessarily sweet amber.
Ambre Narguile by Hermes (which Quarry recommended) I second! It's a little pricey (part of their Hermessence line, only sold in the Hermes boutiques) but it is by far my favorite sweet amber fragrance. A beauty.
Second, perhaps Amber Nude by Lauder (although I think the original Youth Dew [perfume strength] is sweeter, if not more potent as well)

Answer:
Gloria by Cacharel is a beautiful rosy amber scent, no idea why it is being so neglected.
Ambre Precieux by Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier,
and DSH has a beautiful Tunisian Amber in her Essense Oils line.

Answer:
Dear disturbed person - you said "sweet" so let me add - from Mandini Oils and easy to sample, try their site (just Google Mandini Oils) - Olive Flowers!

Answer:
Thrax: Try Etro Ambra, L'Artisan Parfumeur Ambre Extreme, Montale Olive Flowers and Sahara, (and you already know Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan.) I was slow to discover and enjoy amber, and I often got it mixed up with vanilla, but it sure did grow on me, and now I love it. I used to think, "too sweet," but now I crave it.

Answer:
My favorites are Anayake Miyako, L'Artisan Amber Extreme, iPdF Ambra del Nepal, Montale Blue Amber, Dr Vranjes Elettra, PdE Ambre Russe, Esteban Sensuelle Russie, MPG George Sand, FM Musc Ravageur, Jalaine Patchouli (almost more amber in there than patch), Chanel Coromandel, Jalaine Ambre, Geisha Noire, Laura Tonatto Amir, Michelle Bergman Black Amber, Sage Machado Amber, Gloria, Boucheron Trouble, MPG Or des Indes, Les Parfums de Rosine La Coupe D'Or, Susanne Lang Pashmina.
Madini Oils http://madini.com/ has a straight amber oil thats great for layering with other scents. I like to add a little Madini Vanilla and/or Musk Pierre to it.
I appreciate the artistry of Ambre Narguile but I don't like the apple pie accord that's in it. I may be the only woman in the world who has tried it and doesn't want it though so I strongly suggest you get a sample for her. Like the rest of the Hermessence series of scents, it can be obtained in most of the Hermes boutiques now, but not all because some just don't have the room to display them properly.
