My girlfriend absolutley loves sweet scents with tons of amber in them. Does anyone have any suggestions on scents with copius ammounts of amber in them? Thanks!!

My amber amblings ended when I encountered the oh-so-hard-to-get Hermes Ambre Narguile. Mellow and warm, as you'd expect from amber, but the real knock-out quality for me was the nature of the sweetness--it seems to come from a dark fruit like dates. Just makes it a little more interesting from all the other ambers.

Anne Pliska - A creamy Ambery dream of a scent with powdery vanilla, a bit of carmelized orange, the smallest dash of patchouli and a touch of incense. Like a warm, cozy, sweet smelling, fuzzy blanket. Mmmm.... Utterly addictive.

Obsession for women has a strong amber note in the basenotes.

Sira des Indes (mostly amber in basenotes too but you can feel it from the top)
Attraction by Lancome has a very smooth but constant amber tone in all of its longevity)
Ambre Russe by Parfum d'Empire
and there are tons more, specially discontinued ones.
It's sad that amber (wich is one of my favorite notes as well, is being forgotten as a strong note in feminine fragrances, or it's used as a very light basenote).

Ava Luxe has some very nice amber scents & a great sampling program. They are great layered with other scents, too. Ambre Antique, Sweet Amber Wood & Dark Amber are all excellent.

Although high-end, I love Fiori d'Ambra from Profumum. Needs more amber IMO. I smell the opium overriding the amber in the drydown. Still, an absolutely amazing sweet, warm, scent. I've loaned samples of it to my women friends and they've received compliments and comments from their kids, spouses, friends, coworkers, strangers...
MPG's Ambre Precieux is the sweetest amber I own. Dreamy, soft, warm, sweet, and comforting. I tested several amber scents before I chose this one for my wardrobe.

Musc Ravageur by Frederic Malle, an animalic powdery amber
both are very sexual amber scents and I m really saying sexual not sexy! they also work best on women better than men because they re both sweet and vanillic without being foody.

PRADA...it's so, so good. I really like it. Tons of delicious amber. Of course, I also recommend the fabulous Musc Ravageur and Ambre Sultan, but Prada is lower in price yet still very luxe.

One should NOT overlook "Gaultier2" and "Rochas Absolut" here either.
Both are gorgeous Amber fragrances!
