I don't know what it is about these two particular fragrances but women absolutely seem to love the smell!

Those are good. The main compliment-getter for me is Rochas Man. You should try it if you haven't already.

I haven't had a spontaneous female compliment since I wore L'eau d'Issey back in the mid-90s. Incidentally, I've been looking for Rive Gauche but it is NOWHERE to be found. Not Macy's, Nordstroms, Sephora, or Perfumania Plus. It seems like everything YSL except Kouros is off of the shelf in these parts.

I can't imagine how anyone can like Kouros but if you are getting compliments, and like the fragrance, then keep wearing it!
I do really like Rive Gauche. I have a decant and when I run out/ have a little spendable cash I will most likely buy this scent. Too bad the bottle is a let down. Still smells great though! Good choice on this one.

Kouros reeks for me...but damn if the ladies don't love it. Rive gauche...eh...like BdP...I get the "old man" smell.
