Question:
Terre D'hermes beats every other fragrance in my wardrobe hands down in terms of longevity & sillage. More so if you compare it with summer fragrances. It would be unfair to compare it with 'heavy' winter frags but even in that comparison its longevity is amazing.

I was wearing this yesterday and i reapplied 2 sprays in the evening. Today morning i could smell it very distinctly and could feel the sillage it was belching.

Amazing stuff. 12 hours + easily...maybe even longer......

It didn't pass my standard before-purchase wrist test.
It was nearly all gone from where I'd sprayed it on the back of hand after three hours. Which was a shame as I really liked it, but I won't buy scents that don't last on me (unless they're really dirt cheap).

As much as this is a bit of a drag to me, the scent is awesome enough for me to continue wearing it. It does seem to last on the clothing into which it comes in contact.

I only have a decant of TdH at the moment, I plan on buying a full size bottle soon, but I found it lasted fairly long on me and that was just from splashing on wrists and neck. I imagine with the actual bottle it will only be better and stronger.

terre d' hermes is a light fragrance on me, very wispy and transparent. however it has always, always had longevity. it'll disappear for a bit once my nose get used to it. then it will reappear some hours later amazing as ever.

It has decent longevity on me, but the top notes (which in my opinion are the best part of the fragrance) disappear almost immediately and it turns into a boring citrus smell.

I'm reading everyone's comments on TdH and I'm perplexed. Everytime I try it on me, I want to gag. It may be chemistry, but it smells quite literally like dirt...the entire time. As if I lived with pigs dirt. The fact that the scent is so short lived was a blessing.

Terre d'Hermes was my SOTD today.

I sprayed it on about 6:30 this morning before going to work. It's nearly 5:30 in the afternoon now and I can still faintly smell it.

It's not a strong scent on me, so I usually spray more than I do with some other scents, a couple of sprays to each arm, a couple to the chest, and a couple to the neck. I've tried it with two or three sprays but I just don't get much out of it then.

But 4-6 sprays works well for me. I remember easily smelling it during lunch, which was 6 hours later. As I said, it's pretty weak now, about 11 hours later, but still there.

I like this one more each time I wear it.
