Some of the heady wintry scents unfold even more beautifully and fully in the heat of summer.
I have found that scents that seemed "too strong" for me, became more graceful and lithe in the summer as if something was unleashed in them when mixed with warmer air.
I find that I can wear heavier florals in the summer, the A/C keeps them tamped down inside and the warmer humid weather gives them wings outdoors. Fracas, Joy, Jardin Blanc. Last summer I even used up my sample of Arabie to good effect!
I love the Balmains if you want something crisp and lively. Vent Vert certainly, but Ivoire and Balmain de Balmain also fit the bill.
