Good morning,
I'm writing just to share with you some thoughts about my new purchase: a bottle of Tabac Original eau de cologne. It is still a wonderful fragrance but, but... I've noticed that it is a softer clone of Knize Ten, but at a fraction of price. Am I wrong?
I'm disappointed not because of Tabac Original, but because I would have spared Euro 69 for the Knize Ten bottle... Sgrunt
Could this be the reason why I never got leather from Knize Ten but just a kind of tobacco?

are you able to smell leather in other fragrances? I tested Knize Ten and the leather came out and shook hands it was almost alive.

I just received a bottle of Tabac Original as part of an order from Bigdisounts.com. I haven't tried it yet but it will be interesting to see how it compares with all the posts/reviews on Basenotes that I have read. I did take a sniff of the spray mechanism after the initial pump-up but without spraying a whole spray out and I liked what I was smelling

I have both. On me they are very different frags. I'm one of those who does not find leather in Knize Ten, but find it to be a tobacco frag. Leather is all in the eye of the beholder/creator. Lots 'o' spice.

I find Tabac Original to be loaded with carnation & citrus and don't get much spice out of it.
