The charts were practically olfactive apocrypha to people outside the fragrance business until bloggers and virtual community members started telling each other about William Irving Kaufman’s book, Perfume, which contains an old version of the Jean Carles’ charts. Used copies of this discontinued book are getting harder to find and this closes the door on the consumer. I have that book... and I'm very tempted to reproduce those charts and put them on my website. Not sure about copyright issues though.
ps: how was Paris?
