I just got a bottle of vintage Nuit de Noel PDT & it is very different to the EDT I have The EDT is strong (sometimes it seems unbearable) but the PDT is sheer, no heavy aldehydes, no strong iris. It doesn't smell like it went bad, I'm wondering if they had tweaked the scent at some point and made it stronger. That seems odd though, because usually companies water down their juice, not add more essence.Any one have the vintage NdN?!

Tinker all classics have been reformulated, I know we talk about Mitsouko reformulation 99.99% of the times because of Luca Turin 's whole extreme dramatizAtion that he s entertained for over two years now and which just made a U-turn this week.
I read many reviewers who thought Caron vintages are magnificient compared to whats sold today, even the extrait.
Im with you on Nuit de Noel edt, I find it too soapy aldehydelic headache inducing.
