Question:
Which of the following fragrances are suitable in summer?
Parfum de Rosine-Rose d`Homme
C & S-No.88
Montale-Black Aoud
Le Labo-Rose 31
Alain Delon-Iquitos
L`Artisan-Voleur De Rose
As you can see they are rose fragrances i`m looking for one(or 2) that would be suitable in the heat.Suggestions please.

I think both would be amazing in summer.
I am wearing Rose 31 this spring and it is much nicer to me than it was in colder weather.

I think all of them would be suitable for summertime provided that you apply wisely. I have no problem of wearing anything for that matter in summer if I apply a little (of course depends on the potency of the juice) on my chest under clothing.

I own, and adore C&S 88, and today I am wearing Penhaligon's Hammam Bouquet.
It is anything but summery here today, but I would not hesitate to
wear either when it warms up.

Twill Rose by Rosine, roses from a sudden summer shower--Green Stemmed Rosiness and Light Woodiness... some roses are good but... summer perfect--Twill Rose is such a one

I have only smelled (and own) No. 88 and Voleur de Roses - both would work, but I think No. 88 would work BETTER in Summer, VdR seems like a more spring rainy day scent to me...

My husband wears VdR and it is a perfect all weather rose scent.

I also read a nice, but rather technical account of the ingredients for Guerlain's Rose Barbare. Any consumer experience available?
10 hours later: Sorry Frank, I forgot to answer the original question. I have a very personal preference for rose scents in the summer.
That extends to roses with a twist also. - Why? It appears to be so natural experiencing florals when it's warm outdoors (I am a garden fan too).
I occasionally sniff rose perfumes also in the winter months. Black Aoud is particularly satisfactory then (Z&S I do not own). But I do enjoy 'Paris' starting now and all the Montales I know, plus VdR simply have better sillage, or give me a fuller bouquet during June-August. VdR on a warm day in October - wonderful but mixed with the melancholy of death. Ignore this because, as I said, I am talking of personal impressions, and people are different.

I have worn all of them except for Rose d'Homme. Of the ones I have worn, all would be suitable for warm weather. VdR works better for me in the warmer summer months because my skin has fully recovered from winter dryness and longevity is better at that time of the year. If you must select two, I would go with Rose 31 and C&S No. 88. Both would be great in warm or cool weather.
