Question:
More good wishes to Lievje- one of our best friends has been living with MS for the last 20 years. Rough disease.
Thanks for the vision, Riannon- it could be worse; socks with the men's knee garters from the 30's or 40's come to mind.
Enough of you have mentioned sleeping in Tabac Blonde, so I did. After the leather backs off, it is cozy, but I think it is in it's glory with tweed in the rain at a good used bookstore and coffeehouse.
Just a tiny spritz of Iris Noble this morning; I'm taking my daughter to our doctor's office for an ear infection in a bit and they have a very clear "no frag" policy.
Still to pick- what to wear to dance class this evening?

Answer:
I'm testing a limited edition from Shiseido today. It is their latest version of Message From Orchids called Paphiopedilum Delenatii. I wasn't htrilled when I first put it on, there was I greeness that didn't seem right, but it keeps getting better as I wear it. It is less sweet that the original Message From Orchids, but is also soft and easy to wear. It smells just like the Vietnamese lady slipper orchid that it is named for.

Answer:
for today's events (lit class and a sauce/wine tasting with chef allen) i wore Guerlain La Instant mostly because my hunny bought it for me, and i spent yesterday with him, and it reminds me of him (even if he can't remember that was one he bought for me!)

[quote=Coconut;1007643]Just finished a bottle of Gunderloch 2005 Rothenberg Nackenheim Reisling Spatlese... (Can someone please be kind enough to show me how to read this label) QUOTE]
mmm.... Reisling! a wino after my own heart.
Spatlese means its sweeter than a Kabinett, the second picking (the spatlases, not kabinett). after that is Auslese, then beirauslese, trochenbeirauslese, then the eisewiens (spelling? english translation is Ice Wines). not sure if that's what you were asking or not...
yeah... german wine labels are the most information intensive of all the countries that make fermented grape juice. i think, nackenheim would be the town its from... and gunderloch the winery name? but i very well could be wrong though; i spend more time tasting than paying attention to lecture in class.... ::grins evilly::
