J. Peterman's fragrances for women?
Question:
Has anyone tried any of J. Peterman's fragrances for women? And if so, what are your impressions? I know they're supposedly recreated from a certain woman's personal fragrance collection....perfumes she had specially made for herself almost 100 yrs ago. But I could only obtain fragrance strips from the company and not any actual samples to test. I'm particularly interested in these, because of the history involved and that the company was able to obtain the original written recipes, and recreate the fragrances. Thanks, Herb Lady Answer: My feeling about strips of paper with perfume on them is that they 'SUCK'. If they really want to sell this stuff they should at the very least make real samples available. There are so many great things available online, I don't know how they can get away with this anymore. Answer: I kind of agree. I mean, I would have loved very small samples of the scents, to trial them. Instead, I got a brief whiff of the scent strip and had to guess how this would react with my chemistry, much less play out over time. Frustrating.
