Let's talk about Alfred Sung...
Question:
Hey Folks,
As a big fan of Alfred Sung pour homme, I've considered the possibility of purchasing his 2 others fragrances: Paradise and Hei. I've already read the reviews in the directory and these frags seem to be very different from the 80's lavender powerhouse style of the original one.
I found these 2 very cheap online, but It seems the lack of longevity is the major problem with them.
What do you think of both? worth trying? Good for the money?

Answer:
Yes, these two are very different from the original but I wouldn't say that they are original Hei is a bit classier of the two, it's semi-sweet, minty and grassy. Paradise smells very close to Higher Energy (Dior).

Answer:
It's mostly grapefruit + light musk with traces of patchouli. I'm not sure about the drydown since the longevity was rather poor. It's not terrible and if you can get it cheep ( I saw it at 14.99 at TJ Maxx ) you could use it as a beach fragrance for example

Answer:
Sadly, neither of these come close to the genius of the original. It's like the house had one great fragrance in 'em.

Rather it is fruity in a very tropical-berry-pineapple kind of way, light and casual, somewhat sweet but not cloying. I very much like it during a warm humid weekend. Definitely one for the jeans and tshirt kind of day.
Hei to me is in the L'Eau de Issey league - citrusy-woodsy-sweet-and-sour. I got bored with it on me fairly quickly but on my b/f it is appealingly distinctive and he gets tons of compliments when he wears it. I caught myself asking him a couple of times what was he wearing only to realise that it's the fragrance I have eventually got rid of.
Neither is particularly original or outstanding, but definitely value for the money, espeically at bargain prices one can expect at discount stores.

Answer:
....save your money....go for something finer....richer...seriously don't waste your cash...flush you're cache...cash in!!!....

Answer:
I owned Purple Sung for men back in the day...lmao...it was good sh&!
My buddy was wearing it when I visited him in college in Southhampton, NY and it was good back then, dont know if I could still get that today?

Answer:
After all, which one do you prefer? paradise or hei?
Which one of these above would be a better join for the group below:
(Claiborne sport - Halston Unbound - 212 Herrera - Tsar - KC Reaction)?

Answer:
Hi Renato.
As was already suggested, don't bother with them and save your money for something else.
They're both crap, no offense for those you like them.
From the same company (Riviera Concept), Hummer original is very good, IMO, although not in the fresh spring/summer mood, if that's what you're looking for.
