I went to the mall today and purchased a 100ml for $21....smells pretty good and vaguely reminds me of Mauboussin Homme.

Hei fades to nothing on me in less than 30 minutes, but it smells pretty good. The closest thing to it in terms of both overall experience and of longevity is L'Eau Par Kenzo. It's pretty smooth and pure smelling.
Haven't smelled Paradise.
