Question:
I ordered a decant of Erolfa recently and was amazed by how different it smelled compared to my samples from Les Senteurs. It was actually far from the fresh and uplifting juice that was in the sample vials. Now am I thinking of ordering a tester from the seller creedirect on eBay, but I really don't want to waste my money on bad stock fragrances. I'd rather pay full retail value in that case.
But as we all know, good prices doesnt always equal bad stock, so to all of you who are Erolfa 'experts' and have ordered a bottle of this incredible juice from the seller creedirect on eBay.
Was the bottle just as fresh as promised or did it have hints of decay?
I am hoping to get some answers from people who have smelled Erolfa in it's real amazing form.

Mine was good....just make sure you get a box that says erolfa and not one with a sailboat on it (old stock) However, this doesn't mean that yours won't be a few years old....as I'm sure you know...creedirect's stock is from when Bond No.9 used to sell them at their shop.

Good Luck. Thanks for the reply! However they only sell the remaining testers, so there won't be any box with it. So it'll be harder to tell the difference I guess.

I can't say how her Erolfa would be but I got Royal English Leather & Green Valley from her and they were fine as long as you don't mind testers.

Speaking of testers, I bought a 2.5 oz tester of GIT from scentedmonkey and the bottle is clear instead of black. From what I can smell, though, I'm pretty sure it's legit. Has anyone else come across this?

Good Luck. Hmmm... I was always wondering about this different label. I got mine from Scentiments in December and the label on the front was a deep blue felt-like material, and it just had the Creed logo and Erolfa (and the 38 AV Pierre 1er DE SERBIE PARIS). All the Erolfa I had seen previously had the picture of the sailboat on the label. Mine didn't have a date on it, but it smelled amazing. I knew it wasn't a fake or anything, but I was curious about this label. So the sailboat labels are old stock-- That's good news. Thanks!

Has anyone else come across this? Yours should be OK. Only the large 4oz. bottle of GIT comes in the black bottle. The 2.5oz. bottle comes in the clear bottle.
