I was thinking I was lacking in the citrus department in which a l'eau d'issey would do well? Any suggestions? I don't think of L'eau D'Issey as a citrus scent. I think it's pretty nice, you might like it -- although it gets bashed at BaseNotes because I guess it's so commonly worn.
But if you're looking for a citrus to add to your collection, Acqua di Parma is one you might like. Light and fresh and very classy. Armani Eau pour Homme (the original Armani men's fragrance) is another of my personal favorites in this category. And Clinique Happy for men is worth a try. None of these scents has great longevity. If that's an issue -- or if you just like the idea of a darker, earthier citrus -- consider Terre d'Hermes (or reconsider L'eau D'Issey).

Answer:
What about Eau de Rochas? It's a good citrus scent.

Answer:
Oh I always thought that L'eau D'Issey was the most bashed "citrus" scent. What would you call it then?

Answer:
I 2nd the Armani Pour Homme as well.I`ts one of my favourites.

Answer:
It (L'eau D'Issey) has citrus in the topnotes (yuzu, specifically), but I think of it as an acquatic first and foremost. (My ex wore it regularly, so I smelled it all the time on him but rarely wore it myself.)

Answer:
I think your Wardrobe might benefit from some Hermes scents.
How about the 'Jardin's' of Hermes: Un Jardin sur le Nil OR Un Jardin en Mediterannee.
Both high quality, fresh scents that are complex, wear great in the spring/summer time, and are a little mysterious too. I think you can also buy both at Sephora (in the womans fragrance area - even though these two scents are unisex)

Answer:
L'eau par Kenzo as a less common alternative to L'eau D'Issey.
