Czech And Speake "cuba"
Question:
Anybody out there with comments on C&S "Cuba" Answer: Smelled this one in a perfumeria in Italy a few years ago. It's very nice, similar to Miller Harris' Feuilles de Tabac. If you like tobacco fragrances, this would be a good one to get. Answer: I bought this one blind based on my esteem for No. 88. When I first tried it, it was disappointing--it smelled a bit cough-syrupy and synthetic/chemical-like. After wearing it a couple of times, though, I "got" it. The experience was similar to looking at one of those stereograms with the 3-D image in it. You stare for a while at nothing and then, suddenly, the image comes through and you wonder why you didn't see it all along. Now, when I wear Cuba, it smells like sniffing the wrapper of an unburnt Cohiba while standing in a humidor full of Cohibas. It's excellent and very well named. Not for all occasions, though--best suited for solitary use or for a night out with the guys. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
