Well, I've remembered a blind purchase that did work out well - Eau de Chocolate from Hotel Chocolat (upscale chocolatiers). It's more sandalwood/spicy/vanilla than chocolate, but it is delicious. They're not selling it at the moment, though.
I only wish they'd done it as an EDP because the EDT doesn't last too long.
I made another blind purchase today, Vanille Mokha from Comptoir Sud Pacific. I was shopping on Amazon and...oh well.

I've actually had worse luck with fragrances that I tried, liked, bought and then grew to dislike: Butterfly, Miss Doir Cherie, F by Ferragamo.
