Does anyone actually like Fahrenheit? - Page 6
Question:
Fahrenheit is sex in a bottle it is the most fabulous scent on a man not many mens scents do it for me but boy this one does Answer: Nope, never cared for it. I've seen it compared here to Creed Green Valley (which I love) and I don't get that comparison at all. I think they're nothing alike. Answer: I have a slight problem with the longevity of Fahrenheit though. I got a small decant from Sephora yesterday and I pretty much fell in love with it. The problem is that I feel that after about 3 hours it wears off. I'm an asian and I thought that since asians have relatively oilier skin, fragrances would last longer. Any suggestions? Try spraying on your clothes (T-shirts ect). I get 4hours more out of my Brit in that way Answer: Yeah, that seems to be the only solution I've come up with buuut... It feels somehow like I'm "cheating" cause it's my clothes that smell good, not me. I guess I have fragrance morals. :P Answer: This is one of my favorites...I'm in agreement that it must be body chem, but I have to admit I rarely us it...It works great on me and longevity is not an issue...But the issue that I do have is that nothing that I've smelled, smells like it (granted I'm new to colognes)....in my opinion, it's an original scent....Is this a good thing? yes and no...The reason being is that I'm very careful where I use it. Ever get, "you're wearing fahrenheit huh?" and I hate that. If I'm around people, or meeting new ones...I want them to think or say, "wow, that dude smelled great. wonder what he's wearing..." So, for the most part I use it when I'm wearing it just for me...not that I wear cologne just to show off to other people, but...well, you know what i mean...again, to me it's a great frag. OH and also, when people do recognize this scent sometimes they may think of the 80s and with that, they'll go, "oh your so old school, like obsession or something of the sort." there's a lot of rebuttals for that, but you get the point (i hope) Answer: I like Farenheit very much, but only in the winter time or for evenings; definitely not a summery scent. The "motor oil" notes that everyone else mentions aren't very pronounced on me and I receive plenty of complements whenever I wear it. I presume that the gasoline notes are more present when it is applied to unclean skin. (I believe that in order to gather the best of a fragrance, it must be applied to freshly showered or clean skin.) Answer: Fahrenheit is bad ass. Reaks of hot sweaty sex. Answer: No...........Can't handle it..it always reminded me of bug spray.. Peace, Otto Answer: I actually hated this one at first ( I think I may have had a "BAD" bottle.... I recently decided to give this one another shot so I tried it at the mall.....walked around an hour and said "I need to have this stuff now" It does have development and it is magnifiscent on me I must say...it works well with my chemistry....on another note...I think I may start another thread for this....QUORUM SILVER....H-O-L-Y SH#$ GOOD-GOOD-GOOD...
