Lutens - Rousse: First Impressions - Page 2
Question:
Rousse is, as a number of early reviews have pointed out, in SL's Féminité du Bois/Eaux Boisées line, with the cedar and violet notes definitely noticeable. The cinnamon gives it a different dimension, though - someone here once described a frag as being a de facto "Masculinité du Bois," and I'd say that applies to Rousse, as well - it emphasizes the spicy warmth of the cinnamon in lieu of the fruits or florals of Féminité or, say, Bois de Violette. As Narcus remarked, it almost forms a cloud around you - but not in the usual Lutens Fauvist style; this one is more Impressionistic. And it's a real shape-shifter - different aspects keep coming in and out of focus. I found it softer and not as dark as M7, and it lasted on me the entire day, with a wonderful drydown. I've been more impressed with this one with each wearing. Answer: Good review Morgan. - this sounds like something I'm going to enjoy! Answer: Ftoo - Barneys now has it in stock, so you can try it for yourself. I'm betting you'll like it. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
