Suggestions for the Opera?
Question:
Going to see Madama Butterfly this Saturday.
Any suggestions for fragrance?
Some of my thoughts are:
Madame X
Vamp
Mitsouko
Citta di Kyoto

Answer:
It might be because I'm not familiar with the other scents, but my first thought was Mitsouko. It seems perfect for that occasion.Another scent that I find fitting is Coco Chanel.

Answer:
I'm such a fan of Madame X - that would be my first impulse.
But you've got a great 'drobe - how about Opium? Or Fleurs d'Orangier? Or the Dragon's Kiss? They're all divas!!
Anyway - have a great time!!

Answer:
I'm only familiar with Mitsouko
But I'm wondering--are you looking to match the 'mood' of the opera? I tend to do this...for me, Mitsouko and Opium are too 'grown up' for Cio-cio-san. I generally wear something I think she'd wear.
Last time I saw Madama Butterfly I wore Vol de Nuit because its 'purpleness' reminded me of Butterfly.

Answer:
Citta di Kyoto - perfect for a very Italian opera with a Japanese theme.
Pure Puccini, that.

Answer:
Since you have Gris Clair in your wardrobe, it must work for you.
I think there is a kind af sadness in this scent that would fit the theme of the opera.
But whatever you are going to wear: enjoy your evening to the fullest!!

Answer:
Mitsouko is perfect for Madam Butterfly!

Answer:
I'd choose either Mitsouko or Femininite des Bois

Answer:
Mitsouko!

Answer:
Thank you for all your suggestions! They all sound enticing. Will let you know what I decided.
Mitsouko is tempting, seems so fitting, yet she is often temperamental on me and can be demanding ... we'll just see how the mood strikes.
Thanks for responding.
