Oh well, good excuse to change my own scent:
Rive Gauche (still vintage)
My, you do smell good

Answer:
Ormonde Jayne Tolu for me.

Answer:
Donna Karan's Black Cashmere, shower gel and EDP. Mmmmmm...
Thanks to Tinker for starting my love affair with this one!
Wishing everyone a fabulous Thursday...

Answer:
Positive vibes heading out to you ladies with aches and pains!!
From a sample from the adorable Shycat (prrrroww!) - TDC's Jasmin de Nuit (J'aime boucoup de jasmine!!!).
This is my first experience with Different Company - and a strange one. After an initial pouf of heavy (Egyptian) jasmine and bergamot (another favorite) she is coming on like carnations!! It's an intriguing scent though - a creation of Celine Ellena (yes! His daughter!!) who has done several 'fumes for TDC - may have to investigate) Supposed to be an ambery dry down. Will report!

Answer:
Thanks everyone for all the kind neck wishes! It's definitely on the mend - one of my main problems at the moment is that the special cervical support collar I'm having to wear for it in the evenings isn't really washable, and it's starting to smell very strongly of a month's worth of perfumes (eugh). Things continue to improve; I can actually look at things (and people) to my right now, which is a great boon at dinner parties!

Answer:
Wearing Roberto Capucci Yendi.

Answer:
Anybody here who can resist an unexpected parcel filled with beauties?
Hugging wonderful CoCo and in flower heaven with
Chantecaille Frangipane
Chantecaille Tiare
Antonia's Flowers Floret
Yes, child in candystore
And somehow, it is a delicious combination

I did not realise it was that bad.
All the best to you and let's hope you will get rid of your smelly collar as soon as possible. That sounds too cruel for a perfume lover

I am fascinated by the spicy peach/melon note. The first time I tried this fragrance, I thought it wasn't "earthy" enough for me, but my tastes have expanded greatly since joining this community and sampling a large number of fragrances. This one is stunning.
For me today, Jean Patou 1000. One of my all-time, all-around favorites. The EDP is much better than the EDT. It is simply amazing, a work of art. Old-school perfume that smells like--perfume.
It is for women who want to smell like they are wearing women's perfume.
This is a formal yet untamed fragrance. It is a "rich floral" but full of hidden surprises, like a chypre base and animalic undertones. It goes on like a gravitational force, a black hole of fragrance, issuing forth bursts of notes at different intervals, including a lasting skin-scent of osmanthus.
I buy it full price, fresh, and full-strength to make sure I get the full effect.
Next time, I will get parfum.
