Something which is in the same family, however, a soft woody-oriental, which is made for men and which my husband wears is Armani Code. You might try it.

yes why not. Sample it first and see how it develops on you. Men tend to have drier skin than women so it should come across differently than say on me. I get lots of powder, but my skin does hold fragrance.
