Your biggest U turn fragrance - Page 6
Question:
I didn't like dior homme at first but now I really do. I think it has notes that belong to the "play doh" accord but doesn't go all the way of smelling like the stinky stuff.
I was in love with silver mountain water at first sniff, went through a decant and longed for a bottle finally got one in winter wore it today cause it was very warm for the first time and now I"m not so sure I find it very wearable anymore. I used to think the drydown was off but now I think the scent just wears out its welcome on me... well this was one day's experience. try try again...

Answer:
I used to hate L'eau Bleue and first sniff, when was august last year, i just could smell herbs and raw pharmacy stuff. Hate it straight away.
Now this winter I decides to give it another chance...
Fantastic complex perfume!.
Still dark, strong with caracther.
In some man around, the nasturtium, mate, and may rose absolute notes together smell just so sexy, provocative, unique and divine. I just love it.
The second one that I just loved at first sniff its M-7. So so sexyyy!!!

I'm waiting for my U-turn with Van Cleef & Arpels pour Homme. I just can't get into it. I want to, but can't.
I used to rock Issey Miyake back in the day after hearing Jay-Z mention it in one of his songs. I liked it, and for some reason so did the ladies. Then it just smelled indecisive. It was the only cologne that I ever threw away.

Answer:
My biggest U turn hasn't been with a specific name as much as it's been with a specific note. Whatever the note that make GIT..."GIT" has been used in other creations like Kiton Men and 99 Regent Street. The Kiton has a highly refined GIT note and the 99 Regent Street has a stronger reminder of GIT. I like that note (is it oak moss) but I still can't do GIT.
