Floral fragrances for men - Page 2
Question:
Serge Lutens' Un Cedre is a beautiful tuberose and cedar scent that smells fabulous, evolves beautifully, and lasts nearly forever. Not yet mentioned, but Zino Davidoff and Ungaro II both have powerful, beautiful floral hearts.

Answer:
I happen to think that MPG'S Iris Bleu Gris is a very classy men's floral very oily and thick lasts forever and screams this is a mans fragrance.

Answer:
Another vote for Bois d'Iris (TDC). Mine just arrived in the mail today.

There are also a few other fantastic ones to recommend, and a few posters probably already did so on the first page of this thread. I forget right now, but some greats are Paco Rabane Ténéré, Givenchy Insensé, and Fendi Life Essence (lily of the valley and woods). I go for the obvious rose scents that are often mentioned on the board, but add here Penhaligon's Hammam Bouquet because of its jasmin instead of its rose. Alain Delon's Samourai has a good delicious dose of masculine jasmin too, and I've been complimented by da laydeezz a few times wearing it. Also hit the great carnation note square in the middle of Equipage and you'll be a happy floral wearer. Grey Flannel's violet is killer too, and you'll never forget it if you smell it.
After an afternoon of testing it I'm going to turn to Chanel's No.19 for a floral with vetiver mix. The floral part of it reminds me of the wet grass and flower stem delight found in Rabane's Ténéré too. Nice and cold, like the stems of flowers right out of the florist's refrigerator.

BdI gives me mainly a very true iris note, warm and spicy, without the powdery "make-up" effect that iris scents sometimes create. There's cedar and light musk in the drydown, and the iris note remains clearly present.
The sillage is not very strong; but close to the skin, the scent last a long while. (I wore a light application to bed last night and can smell it clearly this morning.)

Answer:
Anvers 2 has alot of floral components in it's heart notes.

Answer:
