What are your choices for best and worst men's designer houses?
Mine are:
Best: Bulgari, Christian Dior, Gucci, Hermes.
Worst: Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole, Tommy Hilfiger.

List as many as you want!

BEST: YSL, Gucci, Chanel, Dior ( Guerlain is the very best but I'm not sure if I should included in this "designer house" category)!!!
Worst: Hugo Boss, Armani, Hilfiger...

It hurts my heart to see YSL getting lumped together with CK, KC and TH.
Mine are:
Best: YSL, Christian Dior, Hermes, Chanel. Mugler too if they had more male products.
Worst: BOSS, hands down. Not one really interesting scent.

YSL? Worst? Whatever rocks your boat, guys !

Chanel is pretty bad at male fragrances (Antaeus is their prime frag - no, I dont like PM, and Allure is mediocre at best).

Caron is pretty good too, but their male fragrance library is quite small (4 fragrances, is it?).

I am 40-60 on Dior.

Hermes might be the next best after YSL and Caron.

Guerlain has some top offerings as well.

I dont care much for CK, Gucci, Versace, Tommy, Hugo etc.

I hate the smell of several of YSL top fragrances - Kouros and it's many descendents and M7, hence the reason it was on the worst list. After reading your replies, I've realized that so many members (with more scent knowledge than me) really respect this house and it's frags.
I thought it would be best to simply remove YSL from the list.

When you say PM, do you mean the 1955 or the new PMC? The 1955 non-concentree PM was the only Chanel for men that was developed during Coco Chanel's life. I like it, but don't really like PMC.
(which is hard because only PMC seems to be distributed in the US. I had to order from the UK to get the original version)
