Well, he may not know which scent is which, but he knows what he likes!

Answer:
L' Instant de Guerlain, A la Nuit by Serge Lutens and Stella. Most men react on L' Instant.
The perfumes I like the best, seem to do nothing...?

The perfumes I like the best, seem to do nothing...? What is really interesting to me is, that fragrances that most women like for themselves, that are sort of girly, sweet, flowery, aren't as popular with the guys as you might think, of course, there are always exceptions. Most of the scents that I wear that are more exotic & less sweet get more attention from men. Fendi, which is so NOT girly or sweet, flips men out. My doctor went nuts over it, and asked me to tell him what it was, so he could get it for his wife. (kind of yukked me out, especially because it was during an examination.)

Answer:
Going waaaay back when I was about 16 (early 80's) I wore Body Shop Strawberry Oil, and had men (only men) follow me to tell me I smelled so good..... But I have not received compliments like I did in the late 80's early 90's when I used to wear Giorgio Bevery Hills, I received compliments from everyone many per day, it was bizarre.
After so many years of course it was time for a change. I tried many, but nothing for years and years until just the other day I got Frederic Malle Noir Epices and received a few compliments on the first day.

Answer:
Crystal Noir by Versace is number one for compliments at the moment. Other scents may get positive reactions but Crystal Noir is definitely a 'Wow' fragrance for me.

Answer:
I've had several compliments on Philosykos and on TDC's Bois d'Iris, but, like Spicegirl, probably the most on Shalimar. I've never really believed that old chestnut about men particularly loving vanilla...but now I think about it, perhaps there's something in it!

Answer:
There are three fragrances I own that never fail to invite numerous compliments everytime I wear them. The three attention grabbers are:

Trouble by Boucheron
Millesime Imperial by Creed
Timbuktu by L'artisan

Go figure.

Answer:
I almost never get comments (good or bad) that I don't demand (by sticking my wrist in front of the noses of loved ones). That said, there is something in the Eau des Merveilles and the Elixir des Merveilles that people really seem to like; I've actually written down the name twice! And the Eau is one of my absolute favorites.

Answer:
Well, I don't wear them every day, because I am hoarding them, but I always get compliments when I wear my 90s L'Heure Bleue and Mitsouko. That's why I cry everytime I smell the reformulation of Mitsouko, I'm obviously on my last bottle....
