Question:
Some of you are talking about romance, others about sex. How often those two get confused, especially by men. There may be times when they go hand in hand, but that doesn't always have to be the case.
Am I alone in finding La Perla a lovely and romantic fragrance?
Nuit Noir by Mona di Orio is very romantic to me, and of course the great Narcisse Noir. Pomegranate Noir is romantic, and I'm currently wearing Jaipur Saphir which is quiet a romantic one as well. Many rose fragrances are also romantic to me.
I adore both Musc Ravageur and Ambre Sultan, but I don't equate them with either romance or sex as do so many others. To me they are the ultimate comfort scents. When I feel low and in need of a comforting embrace and can't find a real one, I envelope myself in one of those two and feel instant safety and warmth. They are the pefect medicine.

I recall reading somewhere a couple of years ago in one of those "celebrity-sighting" news items about him making a purchase of Hermes Bel Ami and Gucci PH, although for some reason I think it might have been for one of his sons. May be that he's into Burberry now since he's been in some of their recent ad campaigns, although as a 61-year-old suave guy I'd say he's got more of a "Geo. F. Trumper/Truefitt & Hill/Castle Forbes/Taylor of Old Bond Street" image these days.
