Bulgari Aqua vs Givenchy Blue Label
Question:
I've read the reviews and saw comparisons to each other (confused as to why a very respected reviewer gave Blue Label a thumbs down). No doubt these are two of the best aquatic, or marine?, designer scents available today.
Which do you think is better, in terms of the scent and longevity?

Just realized that to the bottom of this page has the Similar Threads section with this exact topic - which I could not find using regular search. Nice feature of vBulletin, btw.
This thread is repetitive and no longer of value to me, the OP. I encourage a moderator to delete. Thanks.

Answer:
diferences are clear, and both fragances share fans and are really great.
Blue Label is more into the fruity-citrus/spicy base with an aquatic touch, nice smell and excellent longevity.
BLV Aqua is pleasant, comfortable with an special oceanic atmosphere, very watery, herbal and easy to wear, one of my favs. ( in the aquatic family). longevity is not bad, but could be better.
so, i suggest u, buy both fragances ! haaha

Answer:
Meh, I suppose I'd go with Aqva. Blue label can be a touch too sweet, and it sometimes gets on my nerves. Aqva is much more mineralic and oceanic. A drier aquatic, if that's even possible.

Answer:
This exact subject has been discussed before. You can probably find the old thread using the search function. Anyways, I prefer Blue Label. It's more fruit and wood rather than seaweed and salt. Bvlgari Aqua just doesn't interest me.

Answer:
do a reviewer have to follow others when most say they like a scent to get respected, lol. if somebody doesnt like a scent, thats more respect to stand up and say what they feel and not be fake or play follow the leader. anyway both are ok to me but im not a fan of blue label because it smells too chemically to me and im not a fan of pepper.as for bulgari, well its ok

Answer:
Can't remember Blue Label's aroma.
Bvlgari Aqva smells great when I first put it on, but when a couple of hours pass, I don't like it anymore. I have too many great scents to put up with that.

Answer:
I'd have to go with Givenchy Blue Label...
Bvlgari Aqva is very nice, and gets plenty of compliments, but there's something in it that irritates my throat and closes up my sinuses for some reason... haven't identified the culprit yet.

Answer:
Thank you all for the additional replies. I'm sort of leaning towards Blue Label, because of the "seaweed and salt" descriptions I've been reading of Aqua. Definitely not something I would like to smell like.
