Question:
Hi Basenoters, can you take a look at my wardrobe & suggest any scents that i should try out.I am especially looking for summertime fragrances.Your experienced help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Answer: Nice collection. Try some: *Bvlgari Aqva OR AdG OR Issey Miyake * Guerlain Vetiver *Givenchy Very Irresistible *Gucci PH I reckon those would add some variety to your wardrobe Answer: Your collection is quite good already. There are some very nice choices there. For summertime, I would suggest Guerlain Vetiver, or Malle Vetiver Extraordinaire. Also, Eau d'Hadrien is fantastic in summer and would compliment your Colonia Assoluta very well. The original Acqua di Parma Colonia is hard to beat, but shares enough with Assoluta to wait until you finish that one. You might also consider a couple of Diptyques: Philosykos and Tam Dao. I would push Chanel Pour Monsieur very heavily, but you already have Eau Sauvage, which is similar enough that I'd suggest waiting until you finish that one off, then buying Chanel PM (1955). Regards, Tim Answer: I will also give the compliments on a well rounded wardrobe. It's quite nicely designed. I would suggest for summer: Neroli Sauvage - Creed Geir - Geir Ness I think those two will add something nice to your drobe. You already have Terre d'Hermes and Colonia Assoulta though. Why do you need more than that!? Answer: You already have a great selection. Some summer favorites of mine also include: Boucheron PH Eau d'Hermès Madrigal by Molinard Monsieur Balmain Answer: I would second, Geir Ness Neroli Savage Guerlain Vetiver Eau Sauvage and would add, Muglar Cologne Creed Erolfa Creed Original Vetiver L'Occatane Neroli or Eau de Badian Hugh Parsons 99 Regent Street or Traditional Answer: To the wonderful suggestions already given I would add Bvlgari PH. Answer: you have some good ones there, to be sure. Have you ever ventured to the Jo Malone counter? I think that Amber and Lavendar is a GREAT scent for the summer, as is Black Vetyver Cafe. Former for day, latter for night. As we have some similar bottles, I would also pass on my new love affair with Czech & Speake's colognes. The No. 88 that everyone seems to enjoy is definitely worth trying, as is their Neroli. They are going into heavy rotation for the warm months ahead for me.
